Privacy notice
How I collect, use and protect your personal information.
Who I am
Huws Accountancy & Bookkeeping provides accounting and bookkeeping services to sole traders and small businesses in Monmouthshire and surrounding areas. I am responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact me at huwsbookkeeping@protonmail.com.
What information I collect
When you contact me, I receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, phone number and details about your business. If you become a client, I will also hold the financial records and personal details needed to provide my services and meet my legal obligations.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your consultation
- To provide the services you ask me to carry out
- To meet legal and regulatory requirements, including HMRC and anti-money laundering rules
This website
The contact form does not send or store anything on this website. It opens your own email app so you can send your message to me directly. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to working together are deleted when they are no longer needed. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires, and then securely deleted.
Sharing your information
I don’t sell your information. I only share it where needed to provide my services, such as with HMRC when submitting returns on your behalf, or where the law requires it.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used. To make a request, email me. If you’re unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
